What Makes This Event Special?

No cruise in can be successful without your participation in bringing your car out and help or ideas on how we can make it better. We have all been to a wide variety of car shows. What we are attempting to do here is to make this a truly incredible show that is an interactive event for the participants, for the spectators as well as the event sponsors.

We want everyone involved in the show to have an enjoyable time seeing the various types of muscle cars, but the primary reason this event is held is to benefit Seattle Children's.

Here are a few things we have planned:

  • The first 100 pre-registered cars receive a free event t-shirt and goodie bag.
  • D.J. for music from the era of the muscle cars.
  • Interviews of owner's of interesting cars or unusual histories.
  • Hourly raffles as prizes are available
  • 50/50 raffle to close the days events
  • 30 trophies available for class winners.
  • TOP Food & Drug is located at the show for all your food, drink, and personal needs.
  • Dessert for lunch time- the starting of some of the drag/ factory racing cars.

JUDGING DETAILS

With this year’s show, we have separated the cars into stock and modified groups. Listed at the bottom of this page are the categories for awards winners. To assist everyone, we took some time to define the structure around which a car will list as stock or as modified. That structure is:
  • Car owners select the stock or modified distinction when they register. See below for a definition of stock.
  • Car owners must be prepared to define a stock designation if requested by the judges, which includes presenting any documentation, if needed
  • Judges will work in groups of two or more

Stock is defined as:

  • Readily available to the general public in the year the car was built
  • Contains three, or fewer, modifications, as defined below

Modifications

Each point listed below defines a modification to a stock car. Any car containing more than three of these changes, as determined by the owners or judges, is designated to the modified group.
  • Carburetor and intake manifold
  • Wheels
  • Exhaust – includes exhaust manifold through tailpipes
  • Paint
  • Ignition and electronics
  • Dash, steering wheel
  • Shifters
  • Chrome
